| 01/06/08 Wayside, MS 6 rabbits taken. Steve ran his pack first and We (Michael) ran our beagles the second half. Both packs ran excellent and had several long races before the rabbit was killed. Derek Reno ran his young Queen dog with Steve's pack. Steve killed 3, Derek killed 2, and Michael killed 1. |

| 01/12/08 Wayside, MS 3 rabbits taken. Derek Reno ran his pack first (1 rabbit killed). Steve then ran his pack for only an hour before we stopped to get something to eat. Steve's pack ran perfect, but nobody could hit the rabbit. After lunch we ran our (Michael and Shianne) pack. This was Sally's first hunt (Shianne's pup below left). Our pack started off by jumping rabbits but couldn't hold the track. Then all of a sudden the scent got good and our pack got on a rabbit and ran him for over an hour and a half straight before he was finally killed (by Michael). There were several misses before being killed. Michael killed 2 with .410 pistol, Steve, Derek his brother in law shot 1 at the same time. |
